The Source
We source from a local farm in Wazuka, Uji, Kyoto, a region long revered as the birthplace of Japan’s highest-quality tea. Wazuka’s rich soil and centuries-old cultivation methods produce some of Japan’s smoothest, most umami-ful matcha.
We source exclusively from first harvest of the year, known asichibancha. These spring-picked leaves offer higher levels of umami, nutrients, and less bitterness, capturing the soul of Japanese tea culture.
Flavor Profile
Harvested from the youngest tea leaves, our matcha maintains a vibrant green color, rich umami and nutty aftertaste, with minimal bitterness.
Proper shading and grounding techniques ensure a creamy, smooth finish that makes it perfect for lattes.
